Guild Visit to Defence Academy at Shrivenham

Shrivenham has a unique collection of modern and historic Armoured Fighting Vehicles, Artillery, Small Arms and Munitions that are all used for research and teaching purposes.  The staff who conserve and use them are experts in their fields and, unfortunately , unavailable at weekends, which is why we are going on a Friday.  We will take lunch in the on-site restaurant.  All members who would like to take part in this visit are asked to send full name (as it appears on passport), GBG membership number and car make, model and registration number, if arriving by car, to john.cotterill@btinternet.com by 6 October 2026.  Further details including timings and RV will follow.  There will be no cost for this Guild event.
