Guild Webinar “Guiding the Air Battle – A Pedagogic Survey!”

I was going to deliver a talk on “Guiding the Air Battle – A Pedagogic Survey!” at the January 2024 Annual Conference but Covid-19 intervened.

This will now be delivered by webinar at 1900 hrs on Tuesday 23 April 2024.

But do not be put off by the, somewhat, “tongue-in-cheek” title.

Whilst I will be examining the relevance of air power to where the majority of our members guide, and how to characterise it, the majority of the talk will focus on the practical aspects.

Thus, I will be taking a detailed look at the multitude of different types of sources available, and their merits or otherwise.

I will then discuss ways in which all this material could be used as part of a tour or stand.

Finally, I will bring this all together in an analysis of “Structure and Content”, an issue which seems to challenge Assignment 1 & 6 candidates far more than it needs to.

There will then be an opportunity for questions & discussion.

I look forward to seeing as many members as possible, but in particular those undertaking accreditation, on the 23rd.
