“Antonio’s Lusitania Tours” delivers tours to the battlefields of the Peninsula Wars in Portugal and Spain.

Antonio collaborates and accompanies tours with Guild Member Graeme Cooper; a battlefield Guide since 2022, Antonio delivers tours specialising in touring the Napoleonic Campaign battlefields of the Peninsular War.

A Partner of the Portuguese Museology Association (APOM); effective member of the Academy of Military Terrestrial History of Brazil (AHMTB) – Rio Janeiro/Brazil; effective member of the Executive Board of the International Committee for Museums and Collections of Arms and Military History (ICOMAM); Institutional Partner of the International Council of Museums (ICOM); and an effective member of the Institute of Geography and Military History of Brazil (lGHMB).

Antonio’s interest in Napoleonic Campaigns was sparked during his time as a cadet at the Portuguese Military Academy.This passion, kept alive by a military career, has maintained his fascination for the Napoleonic era and the preservation of the battlefields. He worked in the Directorate of History and Military Culture of the Portuguese Army for 10 years.

In 2023, Antonio will continue to cooperate and collaborate with Cooper’s Waterloo Tours visits to Portugal and Spain (Albuera; Badajoz; Elvas; Alcantara; Ciudad Rodrigo: Almeida: Coa river; etc).
